Maintaining the API has become a burden for both TheIronChef and me, and we have, therefore, decided to go ahead and make the API open source. We will no longer maintain the API once we release the code which should occur within the next few days. Thanks for all the support you have given us, and we hope your projects will continue to be successful.

When the API code is released, it will be released “as is.” We make absolutely no guarantee that anything will actually work, and the code may even require a decent amount of modification before it will run from your server.

We will also set up some type of forwarding to anyone who will try to take up the API. This will last until the domain expires, which isn’t until December. We could probably work out a domain transfer or something if someone really wants it.

We are aware of the fact that many pages of the API are not functioning correctly. We hope to have the problem resolved soon. Thanks for bearing with us.
